DEHYDRATION SYSTEM

 Grade Automatic | Design - Standard / Customized | Oil & Vacuum Dehydration

  

  • Dehydration Chamber is recommended to be used where the oil sump has high water content and needs to be removed quickly. It is also recommended to be used where the  turbine / FRHF/ hydraulic oil sump has water content in free and emulsified state and the oil has to be dehydrated in
  • This machine works on the principle of Vacuum Dehydration. Fluid taken from the reservoir is  made to flow through the Pre heater. It is heated to 50 degrees centigrade. From the Pre-heater it is supplied to a specially designed      chamber at a regulated flow rate. A Vacuum pump creates a vacuum of maximum 700 torr, to reduce the boiling point of water.
  • The fluid is made to flow down the heated chamber walls in form of a thin film. The thin film of oil ensures that water is now on the surface. The creation of this thin film helps to evaporate water very quickly without heating the oil further. Continuous operation of the vacuum pump ensures removal of evaporated moisture out of the chamber which can be either vented out or collected for disposal.
